    He apparently didn’t show because he didn’t like China’s human rights record. But I have a good feeling that our Prime Minister (as Stephen Harper may be voted out of office prior to the event, as election fever is sweeping Parliament) will attend the Opening Ceremonies. After all, it’s Canada we’re talking about.

    It is not safe to be poor anywhere in the world; with tazors, police can pick you off like flies. The world now knows, that means Canadian police ESPECIALLY. So if you are poor and have to scrimped & save to have the money to come to the 2010 games, please don’t bother. We want no more international incidents with the poor; you aren’t worth it. To the WEALTHY, you’ll have a ball (once we ‘get rid of’ the poor here who all suffer from excited delirium)!
