Welcome to the 3D Interactive Whistler/Blackcomb Resort. Located 2 hours north of Vancouver B.C. Canada, Whistler is the future site of the 2010 Winter Olympics sliding venues.

This is an accurate simulation made with a NRCAN Geobase Digital Elevation Map (DEM) and Satellite Imagery.

I call this type of project a “SAME”…
Q. You ask “What’s a SAME?”
A. It’s a Simulation that’s a gAME… (Simulation + gAME = “SAME”)

A “SAME” is an accurate game of a real place. Made with accurate construction documents and accurate terrain data skinned with either Satellite Imagery or Ariel Photography, a SAME is run through a 3D game engine to create a 100% INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT with MMOG capabilities.
