Where will the opening and closing ceremonies be held?
What are some of the venues that Singapore is using for the various sport activities?I heard that they're going to use schools etc…Is that true?
It is a down to earth games for youngsters under 17 to 14 and no one has the experience of holding it but we will try out the arrangement with the 1st Asian Youth Games this June 2009 and refine it for 2010.
The Opening & Closing will be at the Marina Waterside Stadium and the running of the games will be spread around the whole island at the town stadiums & sports school. Paricipants will also attend training & learning programme during their stay and have the chance to mix with the local youth for friendship development. It will be a learning exercise for all. London Organising team, Beijing Organising team will be here to assist and learn together for the betterment of the NEW GAMES. The details will be subject to changes for the better.
