My fiance and I would like to go to Canada for our honeymoon. We our planning our wedding for the summer of 2010.
I want to know the most romantic places we can go that won't cost us an absolute fortune. Our budget is pretty slim. If you could be as detailed as possible with a rough total cost that would be wonderful!
…We both plan on getting our passports so now is as good as time as any. Also, aside from worrying about that is there anything else we should know?
Thanks in advance!
Some great suggestions offered already! Another area that might be of interest is the Okanagan Valley in BC. The area is semi-arid, so the prospects of dry, hot summer weather is good, beautiful locations to share romantic moments and there are plenty of things to do that won't affect your wallet! You'll find the area is known for it's summer outdoor activities, as well as the many wineries available throughout the valley. Some of the larger cities can be costly for accommodations during the summer, but reasonably priced places can be found in the smaller communities that are still close enough to explore other areas. It's a great area to do some camping too, if that's a consideration.

When the Winter Games are held in Vancouver BC, Canada in February 2010, do you think the USA has a chance to finish those games with more medals than any other country?
Probably not, the US is not exactly a powerhouse when it comes to winter sports.

i am 15 right now, turning 16 in 3 months
by the time the games start, i'll be 17
maybe there's a website you can go to??
The NAIG games will lets 16-year-olds volunteer (Aug 3-10, 2008, first link). This might give you an advantage if applying to the Olympics (nothing like sending a resume for something you already have experience at!).
The second link is pre-game and game volunteering for the 2010 Olympics; "Will you be 19 years old by September 1, 2008?" is one of the questions asked.
